Becoming a Fono Host is simpler than on many live apps: the FONO Policy dated 08 December 2025 does not require a profile picture or an audition video. What it does require is your personal PAN card number. Here is everything you need to know to get started.
What does a Fono Host do?
A FONO host (also called a streamer) takes video calls and audio calls from users on an anonymous live communication platform and can receive virtual gifts. Each of these activities can earn Beans, which are later converted to rupees.
Fono Host registration requirements
- No profile picture required according to the supplied policy.
- No audition video required according to the supplied policy.
- Personal PAN card number required.
- Incorrect PAN details may prevent future Bean withdrawals.
Getting the PAN right
Use your own PAN, not a relative’s or your agent’s. Type the 10 characters exactly as printed on the card and check them before submitting. A wrong PAN can block withdrawals later, which is far harder to fix than taking an extra minute now.
Steps to become a Fono Host
- Install the FONO app – see our FONO app download guide.
- Register as a host in the app with referral code ALFVVDRU (the Join as Host button on our Fono Hosting page downloads the app). If you were invited by an agency, register under that one agency only.
- Complete registration and enter your personal PAN card number.
- Start taking calls and follow the platform guidelines.
How levels affect what you earn
FONO uses a level-based earning structure. Video call rates rise by 100 Beans per minute with each level, while audio rates stay at 100 Beans per minute until Level 5:
| Level | Video call | Audio call |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 100 Beans/min | 100 Beans/min |
| Level 2 | 200 Beans/min | 100 Beans/min |
| Level 3 | 300 Beans/min | 100 Beans/min |
| Level 4 | 400 Beans/min | 100 Beans/min |
| Level 5 | 500 Beans/min | 150 Beans/min |
| Level 6 | 600 Beans/min | 200 Beans/min |
Not every host reaches Level 6, and the policy links call flow and call rates to weekly earnings and performance through the Streamer Score.
Tips for your first week
Be available at consistent times
Weekly earnings and performance influence call flow. Being online regularly helps you build a track record.
Learn the withdrawal rules early
Your first withdrawal is listed at 5,000 Beans (≈ ₹50), later ones at 20,000 Beans (≈ ₹200), available 8 AM–8 PM every day. See the FONO withdrawal policy.
Stay within platform guidelines
Following the rules protects your account and your Beans balance.
Actual earnings, commission and withdrawals are subject to platform eligibility and the rules in force. No income is guaranteed, and not every host reaches the higher call rates.
